An apprenticeship with Presidency London College is of great benefit to both employers and their staff.

This nationally-recognised training scheme enables an employee to work towards a qualification in a specialist area relevant to their job. The skills and knowledge gained will then help the individual to flourish in their role, and become a more effective member of your team.

We will provide you with a dedicated Presidency London College team to support you during the recruitment and selection process, and throughout the apprenticeship.

How Do Apprenticeships Work?

Apprenticeships can take place entirely in your workplace, or may involve day/weekly release where attendance at the College is required.

Apprentices will receive ongoing support from our tutors and assessors, both in College and during workplace visits. Assessment includes observation in the workplace, witness testimony, portfolios of work, written assignments and exams.

If your apprentice is under 19, they may be eligible for fully-funded training through the Skills Funding Agency. If they are over 19, you may need to make a small contribution to the cost of the apprenticeship.

Types of Apprenticeships

There are three types of apprenticeship available:

  • Intermediate Level (equivalent to GSCE/Level 2)
  • Advanced Level (equivalent to A Level/Level 3)
  • Higher Level (equivalent to HNC/Level 4)

Higher Apprenticeships

Higher Apprenticeships offer learners the opportunity to study for a university-level qualification whilst working and earning a wage.

3- Dental Nursing - Level 3
4- Business Administration - Level 2 & 3
5- Team Leading & Management - Level 2 & 3
6- Customer Services - Level 2 & 3

7- Warehousing & Storage - Level 2 & 3
